Provenance, in short

The statute and the measurement files outrank this prose. Prices, listing, and survival rates appear only when they are settled.

What C2PA is

C2PA (Content Provenance and Authenticity) is a specification for a provenance manifest inside a file. It is not a court ruling that a photo is real.

This portal is a pilot for signing and checking that specification. It is not on the Trust List, and these pages do not say that it is.

AI labeling and this portal

Korean AI Basic Act labeling duties have to be read from the statute. This page is not legal advice.

The portal shows watermark, fingerprint, C2PA, and a closed-ledger anchor as separate signals. It does not merge them into one score.

How to check a content credential

Use the public inspect on the home page or the verify screen. The plain result is: provenance record present, absent, or damaged.

Absent does not mean forged. If the signer is not on the Trust List, the label stays pilot.

Watermark, C2PA, and fingerprint

A watermark is a signal mixed into samples. C2PA is a credential envelope on the file. A fingerprint is an auxiliary identifier for finding the file again.

There is no public fingerprint measurement table yet. Until there is, the fingerprint stays an auxiliary re-identification signal in progress.

Why a record can weaken on a social network

If a platform recompresses the file or strips metadata, the C2PA manifest can drop off. A watermark can also weaken under transforms.

These pages do not claim 100% survival. Robustness rows that are pending verification stay pending.
