Media provenance protection measured in one place

Upload a sample to walk through watermark → recipient tracing → auxiliary fingerprint → C2PA → closed-chain anchor, then inspect an educational sample certificate (provenance and integrity). Ask Seria on the right for live checks.

Demo · one file

Upload → five stages → sample certificate

Drop an image, video, audio, or document. The XenLook demo light pipeline shows the steps, then a certificate marked demo sample.

Three-step fallback check (public lesson)

Even after the original loses its manifest and is re-saved as JPEG q70, this tries to recover where it came from. When a step fails, it shows only No verdict and never guesses a match.

The sample is /xmse-demo/life-photo.png — a photo with no manifest or watermark, listed only in the PDQ registry. Steps 1 and 2 give no verdict; step 3 (registry) recovers it.

Diagnosis · not a verdict

XMSE provenance diagnosis

Add a file and it is read in two columns: signature · content. This is not a PASS/FAIL checker. It is a diagnosis engine that first shows what is missing (deficiencies).

T1 (manifest · signature): the in-browser WASM check never sends your file to the server. T2 · T3 uploads are processed only after you agree, then deleted at once.

Korea AI Basic Act Art. 31(3) · artistic or creative work declaration (optional)

Whether it applies is the business's call. The engine only records the declaration and does not judge it. A record of the business's declaration, not a legal ruling

Education Step-by-step explainer

See the issuance flow on Seria photos: visible/invisible marks, recipient tracing, fingerprint, C2PA, closed-chain anchor, and certificate.

Step through each concept on the Seria photo (visible/invisible · forensic sigil · fingerprint · C2PA · chain · certificate).

STEP 01

Watermark

Compare a visible stamp and an invisible stamp on the same XenLook photo.

AnalogyVisible = logo sticker · invisible = a banknote’s hidden image.

Invisible: the photo looks unchanged; the heatmap only shows where the mark is placed. Visible: a XENLOOK mark sits on the photo. The live pipeline default is invisible.

Toggle visible / invisible

Invisible · heatmap (education)

The product default is invisible. Dots only show where the mark is placed.

Korea's AI Basic Act, Art. 31(3) · Labeling and robustness

The exception for artistic and creative works is recorded only as the provider's own declaration. The engine does not judge whether it holds. The invisible watermark is the default path. T1–T7 matrix: T1–T7 matrix v6.1 — watermark column awaiting verification · Bonferroni α=0.0018 · independent negatives n=24. For details and the raw bit_match, bits and z-scores, see AI-BASIC-ACT-MAP and the robustness benchmark.

The legal-compliance axis and the recipient-tracking signal axis are defined in one standard document only. This page does not list their numbers.
